Opening in August 2014, the College Football Hall of Fame is an interactive attraction and museum located in Downtown Atlanta and right across the street from the Centennial Olympic Park. The Atlanta location for the College Football Hall of Fame is the replacement for the previous location in South Bend, Indiana. The $68.5 million dollar museum attracts roughly 250,000 tourists each year and has become a critical part of revitalizing Atlanta’s downtown core.

The College Football Hall of Fame is 95,000 square feet feet in size, features a 45-yard indoor football field where fans are able to take part in many activities like kicking fields, throwing touchdowns, etc. The museum also features over 50 engaging and interactive exhibits. Of course, in addition to all the great interactive activities the main purpose of the College Football Hall of Fame is to recognize the over a thousand coaches and players considered to be the greatest to ever play or coach the game. Another unique feature of the College Football Hall of Fame is a three-story wall that features over 750 college football helmets.
