Where To Eat In Atlanta - Home grown GA Restaurant
Located in Reynoldstown - a historic district near the eastside of Atlanta - lies Home grown GA, a laidback eatery in a retro country-diner setting. Being only a short drive away from the homes of the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Hawks and Atlanta Falcons, you have to stop by Home grown GA during your next sports trip. This down-to-earth food spot serves amazing breakfast and brunch. Their delicious and creative breakfast options are served all day, every day and their generous brunch menu is offered on the weekends. Home grown GA has “grown” into a favorite spot for residents and tourists alike. Anyone passing through the east Atlanta area makes it a priority to stop by!
Home grown GA serves locally sourced breakfast and Southern cuisine using only organic, locally grown produce. They even grow produce in their own garden! By using fresh ingredients they are able to make delicious and healthy meals. Owners Lisa Spooner, a former school teacher, and Kevin Clark, a renowned chef, opened their quaint restaurant to become a much-needed bright spot in the community, invigorating the landscape by providing everyone with amazing food in a comforting environment for an amazingly low price. Coming here for the first time you absolutely have to try their Comfy Chicken Biscuit, which is sold for only $12. You can also grab half portions for half the price. We couldn’t get enough of this biscuit sandwich, but the menu at Home grown GA has many other amazing offerings as well, including their French Toast Sandwich and their cheese grits, which should be the first side dish that you consider ordering.
Home grown GA offers guests an undeniable charm. Their walls are even lined with artwork created by local artists! If you find something you like be sure to speak up, all of the artwork is for sale! If you head here during brunch hours on the weekend you’ll most likely have to wait for a seat, but it is more than worth it. Parking at the restaurant is known to fill quickly as well, but street parking is plentiful and just as convenient. Be sure to stop by Home grown GA the next time you are in Atlanta - home to the best breakfast in the city!
When considering where to eat in Atlanta, be sure to think of Home grown GA! Home grown GA is always a popular destination for sports fans travelling to Atlanta for an Atlanta Falcons game, Atlanta Hawks game, or an Atlanta Braves game!
