Where to Eat In Minnesota - Bar La Grassa
Bar La Grassa is an acclaimed Italian eatery in Minneapolis’ Warehouse District, an area of the city famous for their converted warehouses that now house innovative restaurants and hip bars. Being a short walk from Target Field and U.S. Bank Stadium it is common to find droves of Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Twins fans here on game days! The home of the Minnesota Wild is also only a twenty minute drive away. Bar La Grassa serves up a variety of traditional Italian dishes, including different pastas, small plates and a long list of wines in their lively, yet warm and inviting space.
Bar La Grassa serves dinner daily and they are famous for their amazing fresh, filled, and dried pasta offerings, each of which can be ordered in half or full portions. A number of appetizers, bruschettas, other entrées and sides round out their menu. We definitely recommend starting your experience by ordering a few of their bruschettas, particularly their Soft Eggs and Lobster Bruschetta. This bruschetta is topped with the lightest, fluffiest and most delicious eggs we have ever tried and the lobster fits with it perfectly. Another unique dish that we loved was Bar La Grassa’s Orange Cauliflower Gnocchi. This meal is one of the dishes that their wait staff recommend the most. Their Crab Ravioli, Mushroom and Taleggio Agnolotti and Red Wine Spaghetti with Pine Nuts are some other favorites that you can’t go wrong with choosing! Their menu also offers other amazing selections such as their Seafood Platter, their New York Strip and their Berkshire Pork Tenderloin.
The wine list at Bar La Grassa is massive and for many in Minneapolis this restaurant has become a go to spot for a great glass of wine. With such an amazing selection of comforting Italian dishes paired with beautiful wines, Bar La Grassa really is the perfect restaurant. You could just as easily bring a date here as you could bring friends or family. Their menu is diverse and delicious, so no matter what you order you’ll end up having an amazing experience.
