San Jose Sharks Travel Packages
Known to Sharks fans as the “Shark Tank”, the SAP Center was opened in 1993 but it remains one of the top arenas in the NHL today! This is due in part to the surrounding technology community found in Silicon Valley. This community provides the Sharks with the latest in electronic graphics and sound technology to assist in constantly evolving their home arena. There are two rituals that fans get to enjoy at each home game as well. During the pregame ceremony, the Sharks players skate out of the mouth of a large shark head which is lowered from the ceiling while the lights are dimmed. Whenever the Sharks go on the power play as well, the Jaws theme is played and the player in the penalty box is “eaten” by a shark, during which fans move their arms in a “chomp”. If you are looking for a fantastic, fan immersive experience, be sure to speak with an Elite Sports Tours travel expert today to set up your trip to San Jose to see the Sharks!
