The inspiration for Der BierGarten comes from Wolfgang Hartert, a local Atlanta resident and native of Germany - this is why you can be confident that this Downtown Atlanta restaurant follows true German traditions. The menu at Der BierGarten consists of 20 German draft beers, our favorite of which is the Warsteiner. Warsteiner comes from the largest privately owned brewery in the world and it has been around since 1753! Of course, you can’t leave Der BierGarten without ordering the Riesenbretzel - a giant, warm pretzel served with three kinds of mustard.
